Liquid Data ("we", "us", "Liquid Data") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act / California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and other applicable laws.

1. What we collect

When you fill out a contact form or schedule a meeting on a Liquid Data property, we collect:

• Your name and business email
• Your organization or role (when provided)
• The message or context you share with us
• The source page you submitted from (e.g., southcarolina.liquiddata.co)
• A timestamp recording when you provided consent

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 16.

2. How we use it

We use the information you provide only to:

• Respond to your inquiry
• Evaluate fit for a potential pilot or partnership
• Send transactional confirmations (a receipt of your form submission)
• Maintain internal records for audit and operational purposes

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use your information for targeted advertising.

3. Service providers we use

We use the following service providers to operate this site and respond to inquiries. Each one is bound by a Data Processing Addendum:

• Supabase — secure storage of form submissions
• Vercel — site hosting and content delivery
• GoDaddy — domain registration and DNS
• Calendly — meeting scheduling (only when you click to schedule)

4. Retention

We retain your inquiry for up to 24 months from the date you submitted it. After that, we delete or anonymize the record unless you have entered into an ongoing partnership with us.

5. Your CCPA / CPRA rights

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we have about you
• Request a copy of that information
• Request that we delete your information
• Request that we correct inaccurate information
• Opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of your information (we do not sell or share, but you may still register your preference)
• Limit the use of any "sensitive" personal information (we do not collect any)
• Be free from discrimination for exercising any of these rights

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal. If your browser sends a GPC header, we treat it as an opt-out request.

6. GDPR rights

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to the processing of your personal information. The legal basis for our processing is your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry.

7. How to exercise your rights

Email hello@liquiddata.co with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will verify your identity and respond within 45 days as required by CCPA/CPRA (or sooner where required by GDPR).

8. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, Row-Level Security on our database, and access controls limiting personal information to authorized personnel only.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post any changes here with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated via the email address you provided, if any.
